The purpose of the Playtime Fund is to provide families who have a child with special needs financial assistance for accessing 2 day passes a month to Noah’s World. A family is a candidate for receiving financial support from The Playtime Fund if they have a child, 10 years and under, with a disability and/or special health care need. This fund is also used to support our monthly Dinner Buddies Meetings (for families of children with special needs to come together over a meal while children play). Many therapeutic products can be found within the center to assist children in learning and/or practicing many skills, including fine and gross motor skills. It’s a place that welcomes ALL children and strives to provide something engaging for everyone.
Noah’s World believes that unstructured play is a vital component to a child’s development. The funds will be distributed according to the policy of the Playtime Fund and its advisory board. It will be managed under The Family Resource Network, which is a local non-profit agency.
